Reciprocal of a Fraction

To get the reciprocal of a fraction, simply turn it upside downward.

We telephone call the bottom number the Denominator, it is the number of parts the whole is divided into.

Reciprocal of a Fraction

To get the reciprocal of a fraction, just plough information technology upside down.
In other words bandy over the Numerator and Denominator.

Reciprocal of a Mixed Fraction

To detect the reciprocal of a Mixed Fraction, we offset convert it to an Improper Fraction, then turn that upside down.

Example: What is the reciprocal of 2 one 3 (ii and i-third)?

1. Catechumen it to an improper fraction: 2 1 iii = six 3 + 1 iii = 7 3
2. Turn it upside down: 3 7
